The safety of the general public attending events and those taking part is the responsibility of the event or venue manager. All events we quote for are graded by an Advanced Nurse Practitioner experienced in event management and planning.

First Aid Refresh
Annual Skills update (1/2 day) The annual first aid course is suitable for those that hold a valid first aid at work or emergency first aid at work certificate. This half day session is designed to be delivered yearly and can be tailored to meet the needs of the service requiring the update. Emergency First Aid at work
Emergency First Aid at work Certificate (8 hours). This first aid training course covers a range of basic lifesaving skills and techniques giving you a comprehensive knowledge base in first aid management. The skills are delivered through presentations and practical demonstrations with the certificate valid for 3 years. First Aid at work
First aid at work certificate (18 hours). This comprehensive course is designed to provide the skills required to give effective life support, diagnose, and treat injuries/illnesses and maintain the care and comfort of the casualty. The emphasis is on treating life threatening situations and keeping all safe and alive until professional help arrives. There are regular knowledge and practical skills assessments throughout the course and once passed the certificate will be valid for 3 years. The training course will include:...
Defibrillator training
Defibrillator training (4 hours) This course teaches the essential skills for using a defibrillator and gives you the confidence to know what to do in an emergency. The training course will include: Chest pains Communication and casualty care Getting to know the defibrillator (any type) Managing an emergency Operating the defibrillator Resuscitation (CPR) Role of the first aider Treatment of an unresponsive casualty
